THE MESSIAH HUMANITARIAN HEALTH CENTER IN BENIN: SURGICAL UNIT

The Humanitarian Health Center “Le Messie” is a charitable health facility which offers health services and whose actions cover the multiple aspects of human fragility: social, physical, psychological and at the service of the weakest, without distinction of origin. , religion or political beliefs. Its actions are based on the humanitarian principles of impartiality and independence.

Feed Needs Without Borders has been working with the humanitarian health center in the Republic of Benin, (West Africa) since 2016 on various projects.

In order to meet the growing needs of the poor population in Benin, Feed Needs Without Borders is planning to put up a surgical unit in the Health Center.  This surgical unit will cover acts such as cesarean section, goiter, repair of deformities in children, cataract of the poorest layers who cannot afford these specialty surgeries.

The hospital continues to provide life-saving medical care to people in and around Pahou commune every day and many children take their first breath there. Objectives of the project is to provide them with this surgical unit in order to meet the above-mentioned needs and also to accommodate foreign missions of free specialty surgeries for the poor.
